I hate how out-of-focus this is, but he was only curious enough to stick around for one quick picture and then he left. He was studying me for about 45 minute before he got this close. It was just chance that I had the camera with me. Isn't he pretty? I also love how you can't see anything but natural stuff in it. It's not like there's a car in the background or a happy meal.

I was really displeased with it myself. I think it's a beautiful picture because it's very difficult to take an ugly picture of a bluejay, but I think it just looks terrible as far as composition.

I just found out a wonderful place, though, where bluejays hang out all over and I'm going to go make up for my awful picture. :)

Wow, very nice. He looks very inquisitive. That, and his feet look reaaaly uncomfortable. Definitly meant for perching and not... rock-standing...
